It was one day in November 1997.

   On his way back from an inspection tour to an army unit Kim Jong Il, on a certain spot,  asked to turn the car to other direction.

   It was out of itinerary , so that the accompanying officials were embarrassed at the moment.

   Kim Jong Il said that he had to drop in at the persimmon company for a while however tight the schedule was.  He said  that he promised to call on the company again at the season when persimmons were ripened, and the soldiers of the woman coastal artillery company were waiting for him impatiently, looking at the ripe persimmons as the autumn was getting far advanced.

   Kim Jong Il, not slipping the promise, visited the persimmon company again.

   Upon his arrival at the company, the woman soldiers rushed to him, shedding tears at the dreamlike reality and crying "Hurrah!" at the top of their voices.

   Embracing them saying hello, Kim Jong Il said he visited the company again to see all of them and expressed his satisfaction over the fact that they grew into the  tall, solid and healthy  coastal artillery women.
