북은 테러자금 지원방지 위해 국제금융감독기구와의 긴밀한 협력을 계속 유지

자금세척 및 테러자금 지원방지를 위한 북의 국가조정위원회 대변인은 16일 자금세척 및 테러자금 지원방지를 위한 북의 최근 국제적인 협력 활동에 관하여 다음과 같이 말하였다.

 

북의 대표가 2015년 5월 3일－8일 오스트랄리아 시드니에 있는 이 기구 서기국을 방문하고, 5월 13일－14일 인도네시아 자카르타에서 아시아태평양지역 검토그룹과 협상을 진행하였다.

 

양측은 자금세척 및 테러자금 지원방지 분야에서의 협력강화를 위한 실무적인 문제들을 허심탄회하게 논의하였고 상호 관심사로 되는 문제들을 계속 협의해 나가기로 하였다.

 

또 북은 자금세척 및 테러자금지원을 반대하는 일관한 입장을 견지하고 있으며 앞으로도 이에 맞게 국제금융감독기구와의 긴밀한 협력관계를 계속 유지해 나갈 것이라고 하였다.

DPRK Will Further Strengthen Cooperation

with Int'l Finance Control Organization

 

A spokesman for the National Coordinating Committee of the DPRK on Anti-Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism gave the following answer to the question put by KCNA on May 16 as regards the activities for international cooperation in anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism:

 

A DPRK delegation visited the Secretariat of the Asia-Pacific Group on Money Laundering (APG) in Sidney, Australia from May 3 to 8, 2015 and held negotiations with the Asia-Pacific Regional Review Group (APRRG) in Jakarta, Indonesia on May 13 and 14 at the invitation of APG.

 

During the visit and negotiations both sides had honest and candid discussion on working issues of strengthening cooperation in anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism.

 

APG affirmatively estimated the DPRK's efforts for anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism and invited the DPRK to participate in the annual meeting of APG in July and it was agreed that a delegation of APG would visit Pyongyang in around August to further discuss the issues of mutual concern.

 

The DPRK has maintained the consistent stand against anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism and will continue to have the relations of close cooperation with international finance control organization in the future, too.
