치떨리는 일본군 성노예범죄

지금 일본의 아베 수상이 미국을 방문하여 자기들의 과거 죄악을 덮기 위한 교활한 망발을 하고 다닌다. 이때 풀로리다에 거주하는 신선균 박사가 28일 마이크 혼다 의원에게 일본의 악독한 과거 죄행을 사과하지 않으면 미국방문을 허용하지 말아야 하며 의회연설을 하게 하여서도 안된다는 내용의 편지를 보냈다. 혼다 의원은 지금껏 일본군성노예범죄를 미주사회에 알리는 일에 적극적인 활동을 펴온 캘리포니아 출신의 연방하원의원이다. 이에 편지 전문을 소개한다.

DEAR CONGRESSMAN HONDA:

 

YOU HAVE BEEN A CONSCIENCE OF US CONGRESS BY RAISING THE

ISSUE OF SO-CALLED "COMFOR WOMEN" AND HAVE DONE A LOT FOR

THE KOREAN PEOPLE. 

 

People all over the world get sick to their stomach when they learn about the Japanese atrocities during the Second WW.  Yet, the government of Japan, headed now by S. Abe denies the history and try to hide and bury theirshameful misdeeds of the past.  US Congress must not receive such a person who represents the symbol of cheating, unspeakable shame, and evil deeds.  Issues like these will not EXPIRE with the marching of history and passage of time.

 

Unlike the Jewish people,  Koreans did not have the wherewithals to widely 

ADVERTISE the War Time atrocities of the Japanese Military Gov't.  They

should know that they cannot distort or lie about their historical past.  During

my first and second grade under the Jap. rule, little boys like us were sent

to do dig out roots of fallen pine trees to extract oil from them.  This had 

happened during 1944 and 1945 in Korea.  Do they deny that I did not

exist and I am fabricating a story about my childhood slavery.  Thank God

that they had surrender only after being bombed with nuclear to their home 

land.  Even to this day WHY DO KOREANS REMAIN DIVIDED IN HALF, 

EVEN THOUGH WE DID NOT START THE WAR?  They should have

divided Japan in half like they did in Germany??

 

US Congress and the White House should not welcome an Evil Leader

from Japan at this time,  UNTILL & UNLESS they admit their shameful past

and apologize to Koreans and to the World.  I am sure that you will be exerting

utmost efforts to expose and publicize the Japanese mistakes of the past and

prevent Abe's speech at the Joint Congress of US.

P.S.  Did you know that the Abe regime recently ordered the contents of their schoo Textbook rewritten to deny their shameful acts during the WW II? 

 

 Do they really think that they can change the history, their tragic past by feeding falsehood to their next generation?  People in the Western World and particularly those in US, must understand why the entire Asian nations hate Japan and in turn the US policy which support such a regime out of military and political reasons.
